The Bat Out of Hell trilogy of albums consists of Bat Out of HellBat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell (MCA Inc./Virgin Records Ltd., 1993) and Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose (Mercury/Virgin Records Ltd., 2006). The original Bat Out of Hell remained in the charts for over nine years and still sells an estimated 200,000 copies annually.

In 2001, Q magazine listed Corben’s cover No. 71 in its list of The Hundred Best Record Covers of All Time.
